Player Onboarding & Web3 Guide
Before You Begin (Important)
Important
Important: Please read this guide fully before playing! Orion's Galactic Life is a Web3 platform game that uses the ELDR cryptocurrency for its in-game economy. ELDR is a BEP-20 token on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), so you'll need a crypto wallet set up to manage your coins and items. Taking a few minutes to go through this guide will ensure you can play smoothly and securely from the start.
About the ELDR Coin (Eldranium)
ELDR (Eldranium) is the native currency that powers Orion's Galactic Life. It's a BSC-based altcoin (BEP-20 token) used for all transactions in the game's decentralized economy. As the utility and governance token of the Eldranium ecosystem, ELDR facilitates player-to-player trade, item purchases, and other in-game economic activities. The token has a fixed total supply of 5 billion ELDR and is designed with deflationary mechanics (for example, a small portion of ELDR is burned with each transaction) to support long-term value.
Learn More & Airdrops: The developers have allocated a large share of ELDR for community rewards and airdrops (45% of the total supply). This means players and early adopters can earn free ELDR through special events and Play-to-Earn activities. Be sure to visit the official Eldranium website to learn more about the coin's features and to check for any ongoing airdrop campaigns (if available). On the Eldranium site, you'll also find information on ELDR's tokenomics, how to acquire ELDR, and upcoming events or presales related to the coin.
Wallet Setup Guide (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet)
To play Orion's Galactic Life, you will log in with a crypto wallet and use it to hold ELDR coins and in-game assets. Below are step-by-step setup guides for three popular browser wallets and how to connect them to Binance Smart Chain (BSC) for ELDR:
MetaMask (Browser Extension)
MetaMask is a widely-used wallet extension that works on Chrome, Firefox, Brave, etc. Follow these steps to set up MetaMask and connect to BSC:
1. Install MetaMask: Go to the MetaMask official download page and install the extension for your browser. After installation, click the MetaMask icon in your browser to get started.
2. Create a Wallet: Click "Create a new wallet" and set a secure password. MetaMask will then generate a 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase (seed phrase). Back up your seed phrase by writing it down and keeping it in a safe place (offline). Never share your recovery phrase with anyone! This phrase is the only way to recover your wallet.
3. Complete Setup: Confirm your secret phrase as instructed to finish wallet creation. Once confirmed, your MetaMask wallet is ready to use. You now have an Ethereum-based wallet account (by default MetaMask starts on the Ethereum network).
4. Add BSC Network: By default, MetaMask is connected to Ethereum Mainnet, but Orion's Galactic Life runs on BSC. Open MetaMask and click the network dropdown at the top (which likely says "Ethereum Mainnet"). Click "Add Network" and select "BNB Smart Chain" (also labeled as BSC) from the available presets. Approve to add the BSC network, then MetaMask will prompt you to switch to that network. After adding, make sure Binance Smart Chain is the active network in MetaMask.
5. Fund with BNB: The BSC network uses BNB for transaction fees (gas). To interact with the game (buy items, send ELDR, etc.), you'll need a small amount of BNB in your wallet to cover fees. You can acquire BNB via an exchange and send it to your MetaMask BSC address. Even a few dollars' worth of BNB is sufficient for many transactions.
6. Add ELDR Token to MetaMask: MetaMask might not show ELDR in your asset list by default until you add it. Click "Import Tokens" at the bottom of the MetaMask assets tab (with BSC network selected). In the token address field, paste the ELDR token's contract address. (You can find the official contract address on the Eldranium website or BscScan - always use a trusted source to get this address.) After pasting the address, MetaMask should auto-fill the token name (Eldranium) and symbol (ELDR). Confirm to add the custom token. Now your wallet will display your ELDR balance.

Trust Wallet (Browser Extension)
Trust Wallet is another popular crypto wallet now available as a browser extension. It natively supports BSC and many other networks. Here's how to set up Trust Wallet for Orion's Galactic Life:
1. Install Trust Wallet Extension: Visit the official Trust Wallet website and download the browser extension for your browser (Chrome, Brave, etc.). You can also find "Trust Wallet" in your browser's extension/add-on store. Install the extension and pin it for easy access.
2. Create a New Wallet: Click "Create a new wallet" in the Trust Wallet extension. Set a strong password that will secure your wallet interface. Next, Trust Wallet will show you a Secret Recovery Phrase (12-word phrase). Backup this phrase safely just as you would for MetaMask - write it down and store it securely. You'll be asked to verify the phrase by selecting the words in order, after which your wallet will be set up.
3. Switch to BSC Network: By default, Trust Wallet might start on Ethereum network as well. To switch to BSC, look for the network selector (at the top of the wallet popup, it may show an Ethereum logo or say "Ethereum"). Click it, and you'll see a list of networks. Choose "Smart Chain" (this is Binance Smart Chain) from the list. Once selected, your wallet is now on the BSC network (often the interface will show a BNB logo when you're on BSC). You are now ready to interact with BSC dApps like Orion's Galactic Life.
4. Ensure BNB for Gas: Just like with MetaMask, make sure you have some BNB in your Trust Wallet (BSC address) to pay transaction fees. If you created a new wallet, you'll need to send BNB to it (using your wallet's BSC address) for gas fees.
5. Add ELDR Token in Trust Wallet: Trust Wallet supports many tokens by default, but if ELDR doesn't appear, you'll add it manually. In the extension, click the "Manage Tokens" or "+" icon to add a custom token. In the add token screen, first select the Network as BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20). Then input the ELDR contract address in the address field. The wallet should auto-detect and display "Eldranium" as the name and "ELDR" as the symbol once the address is recognized. Add the token to your list. After adding, you will see your ELDR balance in Trust Wallet whenever you acquire some.
6. Connect Trust Wallet to the Game: When you launch Orion's Galactic Life, it will likely prompt you to connect your wallet. Trust Wallet extension is WalletConnect-compatible and should work with the game's connect button. Choose the Trust Wallet option if shown, or WalletConnect, and approve the connection in your extension. Once connected, the game can read your ELDR balance and enable transactions.
Tutorial: For an illustrated guide, you can watch the Trust Wallet Extension setup video which walks through installation, creating a wallet, and using the extension.
Coinbase Wallet (Browser Extension)
Coinbase Wallet (not to be confused with a Coinbase exchange account) is a self-custody wallet that also offers a browser extension. It supports BSC and other networks out-of-the-box. Setting it up is straightforward:
1. Install Coinbase Wallet Extension: Download the Coinbase Wallet extension from the official site (coinbase.com/wallet/downloads), which will direct you to the Chrome Web Store or the appropriate installation page. Install the extension in your browser.
2. Create a New Wallet: Open the Coinbase Wallet extension. If you don't have an existing wallet to import, click "Create new wallet." Coinbase Wallet will ask you to choose a username (this is a unique name that others can use to find you - it's optional and not an email, just a public nickname). Set your username, then it will show you a 12-word recovery phrase. Back up this 12-word phrase securely and confirm it as instructed. You'll also set a password for the extension. (Remember: Coinbase Wallet cannot recover your recovery phrase or password if lost, so treat them with the same care as any other wallet credentials.)
3. Network Setup (BSC): Coinbase Wallet supports all EVM networks by default, and BNB Chain (BSC) is preconfigured in the network list. The wallet may automatically switch networks when you connect to a BSC dApp. Click the network selector in the Coinbase Wallet extension interface. You should see BNB Chain in the list of networks - select it if it's not already active. The wallet's UI should now indicate it's on BNB Chain.
4. Add ELDR Token: Coinbase Wallet can detect many tokens, especially once they're widely traded, but if ELDR doesn't show up automatically, you might need to add it. In the extension, look for an option to "Add Token" or "Import tokens." Ensure the network is set to BNB Chain, then add the ELDR token by entering its contract address. The token should register as Eldranium (ELDR) and be added to your assets.
5. Connect to Orion's Galactic Life: Launch the game and choose the option to connect a wallet. Select Coinbase Wallet if the game offers it; this usually triggers the Coinbase Wallet extension to prompt you for approval. Approve the connection. Once connected, the game will recognize your wallet and allow you to use ELDR in-game.
Tutorial: For a detailed walkthrough, you can refer to the Coinbase Wallet Extension guide (YouTube). It covers installing the extension, creating a wallet, and using Coinbase Wallet with dApps.
Important Wallet Note
Regardless of which wallet you use, the process is similar: install extension, create or import wallet, connect to BSC, and add the ELDR token. Always keep your recovery phrases safe. With your wallet connected to BSC and loaded with a bit of BNB for fees, you're all set to interact with Orion's Galactic Life and its ELDR-powered features!
Game Mechanics Powered by ELDR
Orion's Galactic Life features a player-driven economy where almost everything revolves around the ELDR coin. Below, we explain how various game mechanics work with ELDR:
Purchasing Items from the Market
The game's Market is the primary shop where you can buy in-game items (such as mining equipment, upgrades, resources, or consumables) using ELDR coins. Think of it as a marketplace or store accessible from the game menu. If you find an item you want, you'll initiate a purchase which triggers a crypto transaction. Your wallet (e.g. MetaMask/Trust) will prompt you to confirm the payment in ELDR. Once you approve and the transaction is confirmed on BSC, the ELDR cost is deducted from your wallet and the item is delivered to your account in-game. All purchases are recorded on the blockchain via smart contracts, ensuring true ownership of items.
Tip: Make sure you have sufficient ELDR (and a little BNB for gas) in your wallet before buying an item. After purchase, you'll see the new item in your inventory ready to use.
Selling Items on the Black Market (Auctions)
In addition to the main market, Orion's Galactic Life features a Black Market where players can sell items to each other. The Black Market operates in an auction format, meaning you list your item and other players bid ELDR for it over time.
To sell an item, you'll choose the item from your inventory and set parameters like a starting bid price (in ELDR) and auction duration. Once you submit, a smart contract escrows your item and the auction goes live. Interested players can then place bids, offering higher amounts of ELDR. At the auction's end, the highest bidder wins - the item is automatically transferred to the winner, and the ELDR they bid is transferred to your wallet (minus any small auction fee if applicable).
Selling on the Black Market lets you turn rare loot or crafted resources into ELDR profit. All auction transactions are handled on-chain securely, so neither party can cheat the other. If you're bidding, be sure to have the ELDR balance available; if you win, the ELDR is deducted from your wallet. For sellers, it's a great way to earn ELDR from other players for items you don't need, fostering a player-to-player economy.
Earning ELDR through Gameplay
Orion's Galactic Life is designed as a Play-to-Earn experience. As you explore the galaxy and play the game, you can earn ELDR coins as rewards. There are several ways to earn in-game:
. Resource Mining: The core gameplay involves mining Plasma and other resources with your mining machines. Efficient resource production translates to token rewards - for example, producing Plasma might yield you ELDR tokens as a reward. The better you optimize your mining operations, the more you can earn.
. Quests and Challenges: The game may have missions, daily challenges, or achievements (e.g. reach a certain milestone, explore a new planet, etc.) that grant ELDR upon completion. Check the Quest or Achievements section for tasks that reward ELDR.
. Events and Competitions: Orion's Galactic Life could host periodic events, tournaments, or a universal battle pass (across Eldranium-powered games) where players earn ELDR for participation. For instance, finishing in the top ranks of a galaxy-wide event or completing a special storyline might grant an ELDR payout.
. Staking/Yield Rewards: Staking in-game can also generate ELDR earnings over time.
As you accumulate ELDR through gameplay, those coins will be reflected in your connected wallet or in-game wallet interface. Remember that these rewards are real tokens on BSC - you truly own them. This means you can use earned ELDR to reinvest in in-game items or withdraw and trade them externally as you see fit. The economy is balanced by the fact that rewards are not endless; for example, the game uses a sustainable model (similar to a halving schedule for emissions) to ensure ELDR rewards remain valuable. The more skill and time you put into the game, the greater your potential ELDR earnings.
Withdrawing & Selling ELDR Outside the Game
Since ELDR is a standard cryptocurrency, any ELDR you earn or purchase in Orion's Galactic Life can be withdrawn and traded outside the game's ecosystem. "Withdrawing" in this context simply means that because your ELDR is held in your personal crypto wallet, you already have full control over it. If you want to cash out or trade:
. Ensure ELDR is in your wallet: Some games keep an internal balance until you claim it. If Orion's Galactic Life has a claim function (check if your in-game profile shows withdrawable ELDR), use it to send the ELDR to your wallet. In many cases, rewards might be automatically in your wallet if the game issues them directly to your address.
. Trade on an Exchange or DEX: You can swap ELDR for other cryptocurrencies. Because ELDR is on BSC, one popular option is to use a decentralized exchange like PancakeSwap. On PancakeSwap (or a similar BSC DEX), you'd connect the same wallet, then trade ELDR for BNB or a stablecoin like USDT/USDC. Simply paste the ELDR contract address in the exchange's token list if it isn't already listed, and you can execute a swap.
. Sell for Fiat (optional): If your goal is to turn ELDR into real money, after swapping ELDR to a major coin (e.g. BNB or USDT), you can send that to a crypto exchange that supports fiat withdrawals. In the future, ELDR might itself be listed on exchanges - check Eldranium's announcements for any listings. If listed, you could transfer ELDR directly to that exchange and sell it for USD/EUR, etc.
Always double-check addresses when transferring funds. Also, keep some BNB for gas when moving ELDR out of your wallet (transactions to exchanges or DEX trades will cost a small BSC network fee). The freedom to sell externally means Orion's Galactic Life truly lets you play-and-earn: your in-game earnings have real-world value.
Staking ELDR within the Game
Orion's Galactic Life will allow players to stake their ELDR coins inside the game for additional benefits. Staking means locking up a certain amount of your ELDR for a period of time, and in return you receive rewards or yields, typically paid in ELDR.
In the game's interface, look for a Staking or Eldranium Bank feature. There, you can choose an amount of ELDR to stake and confirm the transaction (your wallet will prompt you to approve moving those tokens into the staking contract). Once staked, you'll start earning passive rewards.
The Eldranium protocol offers an approximate 12% APY on staked tokens as a reward for long-term holders, though the exact rate or terms in-game might vary. For example, if you stake 1000 ELDR, you could earn roughly 120 ELDR over a year (rate may be adjusted by the game economy). Staking in-game might also confer special bonuses - perhaps boosts to your resource production or access to exclusive content - as a reward for supporting the game's economy.
Keep in mind that staked ELDR may be locked for a minimum duration. If you withdraw (unstake) too early, there could be a penalty or a portion of rewards burned (the Eldranium whitepaper notes a 50% penalty burn for early unstaking in some cases). It's wise to only stake ELDR that you won't need immediately for trading or purchases.
Over time, staking is a great way to grow your ELDR holdings and show commitment to the game's ecosystem. You can always view your staked balance and earned rewards in the staking menu. When the lock period is over (or if you choose to unstake), the principal and any earned rewards will be returned to your wallet (minus any penalties if you broke a lock early). Staking is entirely optional but can significantly enhance your earnings and influence in the Orion's Galactic Life universe.
